1823 Johann Caspar Reinhart, grandson of one of the founders, becomes a partner in the company. Expansion of the business by entering into various financial partnerships in the textile industry.
1848 Concentration on cotton agency business (U.S. and Egyptian growths) after financial difficulties in Turkey in 1846. Extension of activities from Switzerland to all Europe.
1856 Establishment of the first foreign branch office in Le Havre, France under the management of Louis Reinhart-Gruber.
